Lee Matthews started his franchise, British Military Martial Arts at 25 while still serving his last few months in the British Army's Parachute Regiment.
Lee joined the Army at the age of 18 and served for eight years, taking part in operations in Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
He used his unique skill set as a Paratrooper and military PTI, along with many years of kickboxing training, to create a high-energy, fast-paced training program.
Through his training, mindset and the program he developed, Lee started and grew the UK's largest chain of martial arts centres.

Lee developed this program after starting and growing the UK’s biggest chain of martial arts centres, with over 200+ locations and 30 full-time centres opened over 25 years.
While building his business and teaching, Lee was also competing in Kickboxing and was on the W.A.K.O. GB squad for over ten years.
It was during this time he achieved a record of 10 x WAKO British Champion, 2 x WAKO Pro European champion and WAKO World Team Champion, WKA Junior World champion & Full Contact Points World Champion in 2012, when he then retired from competition to pursue his business dreams.
Over time Lee used his training, connections, and lived experience to build a talented team that in turn built a successful franchise. The 6-Rounds of Success is what was born of this effort and dedication to his business.
